Bedrock Mortgage is a direct portfolio lender. We underwrite, fund, and service loans from our own capital. There is no wholesale bank in the chain. When an underwriter has a question about your file, they are down the hall, not at a call center in another state. That is why we close in 21 days and why the rate you see on day one is the rate you sign at closing.
We are based in Florida and have been lending here since 2001. Over that time, we have built out specialty programs for borrowers who do not qualify through conventional channels: real estate investors who need DSCR loans, self-employed borrowers whose tax returns understate their income, and international buyers purchasing Florida investment properties without a US credit history.
